We were saddened this weekend to hear of the passing of Mark Behr. He was the author of three novels: The Smell of Apples, Embrace, Kings of Water. At the time of his passing he was 52 years old and was Professor of English Literature and Creative Writing at Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee. Literary Tourism is tourism that deals with places and events from fictional texts as well as the lives of their authors. This could include following the route a fictional character charts in a novel, visiting particular settings from a story or tracking down the haunts of a novelist.
