By Rasvanth Chunylall

Many writers have embraced twitter as a medium to engage with fans, develop their brand identities, share news stories and express their thoughts and opinions. Very irresponsible reporting from @pensouthafrica and @BooksLIVESA on institutionalization of Dala by bogeyman muslim community. @sabookman

Powerful people should not underestimate the power of their words. Who’s to say that the king’s words didn’t spark these xenophobic attacks?

Those that exaggerate & post articles that promote #Xenophobia #ForeignFear are just as guilty. Check the credibility of your source 1st.

South Africans hated boundaries of apartheid but accepted a narrow definition of citizenship, creating new ‘us’ and ‘them’.

— Azad Essa (@azadessa) April 19, 2015

Hard to believe a #sociology lecturer is teaching his students that being ‘gay’ is a choice. Fire his ass! #BornThatWay #Gay #SouthAfrica

I regret making Spud a year younger than myself. Lucky bastard is still in his 30’s!

I support #BruceJenner 100%. Anyone married to Kris Kardashian that long deserves any escape they can get. Extreme, yes. Surprising, no.

“Let me just stop in the middle of this scene so I can have an early night and wake up refreshed!” …. Said no #writer…. Ever.

Mandela never asked to be idolized. But for us it is easier to build statues than implement his legacy. #FreedomDay
