About the Speaker:
Lindy Stiebel is a Professor Emeritus of English Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has published on South African popular fiction, nineteenth-century empire writing and mapping, and gender studies. Her latest book is Writing Home: Lewis Nkosi on South African Writing, which she co-authored with Michael Chapman.
