For those of you who follow us from Cape Town, be sure to catch the launch of Imraan Coovadia‘s latest offering, Tales of the Metric System. The launch will take place at the Book Lounge on Roeland Street at 18:00. Coovadia will be in conversation with Pippa Skotnes of the school of Fine Arts at the University of Cape Town.

Literary Tourism is tourism that deals with places and events from fictional texts as well as the lives of their authors. This could include following the route a fictional character charts in a novel, visiting particular settings from a story or tracking down the haunts of a novelist.
