We recently returned from a research trip to the Midlands, visiting Howick, St Anne's College, Michaelhouse, Hilton College and Caversham Mill. Although there is a wealth of literary talent in this area, we are specifically looking for writers who have lived in or written about Howick. Please contact us with suggestions.
Literary Tourism is tourism that deals with places and events from fictional texts as well as the lives of their authors. This could include following the route a fictional character charts in a novel, visiting particular settings from a story or tracking down the haunts of a novelist.
