The 19th Poetry Africa 2015 International Poetry Festival is upon us! The festival features 24 participants from South Africa and around the world. The extensive week-long programme features performances, readings and book-launches from some of the world’s most diverse poets every evening at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre. The festival finale and the Durban Slam Jam take place at The Rivertown Beer Hall on Saturday 17 October. The day programme includes seminars, workshops, poetry competitions, open mic opportunities, campus invasions and schools visits.
